Warranty Info, Terms and Conditions, Privacy Notice.

Here will be the info you will want to know about HOW we do things here and HOW our warranty works. It also has our Privacy Notice.

The majority of our privacy notice is due to Google Analytics, it is a software that basically allows us to make our website visible easily when searched on google by targeting keywords and more likely users. They have their own privacy agreements listed as well,  regardless we must show that data connection to google even if your data is completely safe.

Warranty

Our warranty is granted as soon as your order is accepted and the performance is agreed upon. Warranty conditions are listed below.

On your serviced replica you will have a sticker with our logo and date of last service on the gearbox shell, it will have either a NW(no warranty), 3M, 6M or 8M marked on it with a date one it, indicating your month warranty time and date the warranty went into effect, the date will be guessed around the time you’d be getting the replica back. I will not grant a warranty if there is a major known problem you refuse to fix or address.

If the replica breaks, stops working or has a major issue before the warranty is up, you may pay to ship it to me, If the reason for failure shows I’m at fault or a part I picked (I will show proof) is at fault, I will fix it for free, including part cost, and pay shipping back to you, and cover the shipping costs you paid to ship it to me beforehand. I’m a very honest person to work with. I will make things right.

However there are conditions not covered by warranty or void it entirely.

Any part not installed or approved by BrrrtTech from a trusted list of parts, we know what brands and parts are prone to failure.

If you open the gearbox shell or change the motor, the warranty is voided. I carefully fit motors. For example, I pick the best fitting pinion, shim the motor armature, and shim the motor tower tight, not to mention I carefully route wiring exactly how they should be. You may change your own brushes, but if a failure occurs from that, it won’t be covered by warranty.

If you preformed a hop-up, packing or barrel change that damaged, or jammed the replica causing it to break, then the warranty is voided.

If you run a battery voltage over what is intended and it breaks from piston pickup tooth PME, the warranty is voided.

If a fancy mosfet burns out on its own, or a brushless motor burns out, the warranty can’t be applied for that failure. However those oems typically will replace those products for free. Gate mosfets have a very high lemon rate, even though they are pushed as the best.

If the shell cracks from faulty materials or excessive dry fire abuse, warranty can’t be applied. I radius and add padding to every build to help prevent this. None of my personal or customer builds have ever cracked a shell.

If I find a fair amount of dirt, water, small rocks or other debris inside the gearbox or barrel, the warranty can’t be applied.

If you use bad bb’s aka soft bios and jam the replica damaging it, the warranty is voided. Please use at least decent .20 gram bb’s that aren’t soft.

Cutting the warranty sticker almost always voids the warranty, unless I have been notified and approve of a well known tech doing work for it.

Terms and Conditions

By using this website for its services, sales and enjoyment, you have agreed to these terms and conditions.

This website has, and will have many features in the future.

Firstly our tech service.

First and foremost, you must be 18 to submit a request. Any request I get I will assume is from someone 18 or older, I also expect payment to be from the same name as the request, I am in no way liable for ANYTHING if you lie to me in this regard. I understand plenty of kids airsoft, so any business must be with a legal guardian or parent who is older than 18.

Work request policy: When you submit a work request, you will be contacted within 7 days, I will talk to you about your form then see if we can both agree on the outcome and expectations. After that I will accept or reject the work request. I have the right to reject any work request for any reason. We also only serve US clients with shipping address’s in areas where airsoft is legal. Shipping for the replica to and from is covered by the customer unless warranty is applied.

Performance outcome agreement for electric replicas: After we agree on everything, there will be a set RPS and FPS goal that I will try to get as close to as possible. I am using a Acetech chrono with .20 BLS bb’s, if you want heavier bb’s used let me know. Your fps goal will be met with a -10 range, meaning if you want 400fps with .2, and it shows 391 I will consider that achieved. The rps goal will be +/-5rps, but I will try to get it as close as I can with the battery voltage you requested, I can test with 2, 3 and 4 cell lipo’s, however I don’t want any user battery being shipped or supplied due to liability. If you are having a gas replica worked on, you must supply one working magazine, please make sure you drain the flammable or non-flammable pressurized gas from the magazine before it is shipped. I do not service hpa engines at this time except for hop up and barrel changes/mods.

Contact abandonment policy: If you submit a work request, then break contact with me for 14 days, I will consider the request abandoned, and will delete the request, you can always submit a new one. I will not hold this against you at all.

Replica abandonment policy: If you ship the replica to me to be worked on, you are expected to maintain contact with me as I have your personal property. If you do not respond to emails or by phone (if provided) for 7 days while I have your replica, then I will stop work on it and put it aside to wait for a response. After 60 days I will email and call you to ask you to pay shipping back for your unfinished build, as you have wasted my time and are not willing to work with me. 7 days later if you do not contact me, I will consider your property abandoned. Any unpaid parts of mine will be stripped from the build, stock parts, parts supplied from you and the replica will be will be donated to a local field. You can’t get it back once it has been donated. I can refuse doing future service and contact with you if I deem it appropriate. I am not going to go out of my way to pay shipping and take the financial hit because you do not care enough to even get your replica back.

Costs: You have given me a budget range to work with in the application for parts and labor, shipping costs excluded. That budget range I agreed with when I accepted the request or when I contact you after, the budget costs do not include parts supplied by you. I will try to stick to the cost as closely as I can and let you know of any unexpected expenses or over-costs. You are expected to pay for parts installed and labor costs. If the build goes over budget to achieve the goals (and you will not pay for going over) or can’t be built easily within the budget you will have the option to ship it with me paying half the shipping back. You are expected to pay for any of the parts I supplied or I can take them back out if you wish. Most the time we can talk this all out and still make everything happen for a different budget, or change the outcome goals.

Payment refusal/denial: If I work on your replica and finish it within your goals that we agreed to, you will be sent an invoice with the cost of parts and labor. You are expected to pay via Paypal and pay shipping of your choice (with or without shipping insurance) back within 14 days. After 14 days I will start the replica abandonment policy. That excludes the 7 day work halt as the replica is done. I can refuse doing future service and contact with you if I deem it appropriate. Paypal is pretty flexible, it protects my wallet and you can setup payments with them if you must. Any charge-backs will result in BrrrtTech taking you to civil court, with all court costs covered by you.

Shipping: You are normally expected to pay for shipping both ways. Shipping methods and insurance for the package is all up to you, if it is lost or damaged I am not responsible, I will however insure the package for 300 dollars. You will be emailed the tracking number when the replica is shipped. The only two exemptions are a warranty condition was met or if I accept a work request that you made with WITH ACCURATE INFO then receive it and find it is too complex for me to work on, then I will pay to ship it back myself with it insured. If you leave out key details about an issue in the request and I cant fix it, then shipping is still on you. You are also expected not to ship the replica to me until I accept and agree to do the work request. Shipping it to me before I accept means you must pay shipping back if I reject it, or the replica abandonment time will go into effect.

Orange tip and other laws: All replica’s by law must have an orange tip at least 1/4 inch on the tip of the replica when being shipping, if you do not have one that is your own risk, when it is shipped back it will have a one or the factory one you shipped it with. I am not responsible for liability if you take it off. Taking it off does not void warranty. If you live in California I will follow their marking laws before shipping it back. I do not offer two toning services or ship to Canada. I can refer you to Canadian techs if you need me to.

Liability: I am not responsible for anything you do with your replica once it is back to you. This includes bodily or emotional harm to you or others, property damage or any legal issues you run into with police or others. I am not liable to for any battery or gas related burns, fires, or property damage. I am not liable for any pellet impact injuries or damages, or any harm from handling the replica, such as getting a fingers stuck in the gearbox or in the ejection port of a blowback replica. I do not sell and will not ship batteries or magazines with gas in them due to this liability. It’s your paid property in your hands. I never owned the replica as it was in to be serviced for a agreed contract. This effects a lot of legality of shipping to be honest. For any further conflicts with your replica please look at our warranty terms.
